2014 June: Charlie Landau says:

CapROS and Coyotos were both forked from EROS. CapROS has a useful set of device drivers; Coyotos has little, perhaps no working drivers. Coyotos design paid attention to optimizing performance on multiple processors (cores); CapROS did not and has no multiprocessor implementation. I can’t say that Coyotos had sufficient testing to validate its design. CapROS has been in continuous use (not development) since 2006. Coyotos work stopped then and AFAIK is currently dead.
