Most of the Keykos technical documentation describes the role of pages only in the context of page keys occupying slots of <a href=../../KKSegs.html>segment nodes</a>.
The notion presented here is of messages flowing to and from pages.
In some sense all messages are figments of the kernel’s imagination, but for pages the message is a figment of even the hardware’s imagination.
Yet it is useful terminology when used carefully.
