An OS domain begins by executing the Gnosis interface program GNOFIBM. Upon completion, the programs apparent entry point will be called. The current technology for defining the apparent entry point is rather crude. The apparent entry point is defined by one of the following symbols: PLISTART (for any PL/I main program), IEV90 (for Assembler H), of IEL0AC (for the PL/I Optimizing Compiler). If none of those symbols is present in the program module, the initialization program crashes. {It should write a message, and return.} To add new entry point candidates to the list (Such as MAIN, the name of any FORTRAN main program), reassemble GNOFIBM on the OS tools disk.
