IXPORT -- Import/ Export in CMS

\NORMAL;\The IXPORT key determines the directory to be used by the CMS IMPORT and EXPORT commands. It is expected in general slot 15 of the CMS domain. You can modify the IXPORT's directory, space bank, and meter with the IXPORTCONTROL key.

The IXPORT object acts as a policeman by limiting actions that a rogue CMS program can take. Such programs can modify segments and record collections found in the IXPORT directory and add new such objects. It can do just those things that the CMS commands IMPORT and EXPORT can do.

IXPORT(kt==>X'FF')

There are, of course, other orders known to the programs IMPORT and EXPORT that are designed to run under CMS and invoke the IXPORT key.

\NORMAL;\The IXPORTCONTROL key modifies the corresponding IXPORT's directory, space bank, and meter.

IXPORTCONTROL(kt==>X'1ff')

IXPORTCONTROL(kt+4==>0)

\NORMAL;\The invocation will result in both the IXPORT and IXPORTCONTROL keys designating the destroyed object to become DK(0).

IXPORTCONTROL(0;IXPORT_SB,IXPORT_METER,Directory==>0)

IXPORT_SB; New space bank for newly-created objects exported with IXPORT.

IXPORT_METER: New meter for objects exported with IXPORT.

Directory: New user directory to be used for imported and exported objects.
