Gnosis will run on any computer which is 370 compatible and has at least two 3330 style disks and a Tymnet base.

{arcane}370-compatible means:

satisfies the specification of "IBM System/370 Principles of Operation" (GA22-7000-6);

has the universal instruction set;

has the translation feature;

has the CPU-timer and clock-comparator feature;

has the conditional-swapping feature;

has the PSW-key handling feature;

has the command-retry feature;

with DAT on: nullifies or suppresses (rather than terminates) instructions which cause a key-controlled protection exception. However see also (p1,tp).
