Information Silk Road

This is a very interesting paper by Ted Anderson on the business of preserving information as distinct to permitting the use thereof. There are some good references there too. The Information Silk Road might well complement the Digital Silk Road which moves and processes data. Preservation is the goal of the Data Bank as well. The Information Silk Road preserves data, knowledge of which is wide spread. The Data Bank presumes that only a few customers know of a particular piece of data.
