I have had AT&T’s U-Verse for nearly 4 years.
It is expensive.
I have 15Mb/sec.
It has been solid.
In includes POTS (voice over IP) which is supposed to sort of be available when power is out.
To sort of achieve that they include battery backup that lasts 5 or 6 hours.
That works for about 5 hours.
I have needed that just once.
Now I have only about 1000 ft of copper for my phone service.
