This is a philosophical place holder that bears on Evolutionary Epistemology. When we reason about what we know, we take the bird’s eye view of the frog’s epistemology. We are both bird and frog. When we say that we can in principle predict the future, we speak as bird. We are actually the frog and we cannot compute much of the future. Much confusion stems from this.
