Note the text “html” in the first printf of routine main.
Some browsers will ignore the “<html>” within the body.
This may be correct.

Unix must grant authority to your web server to execute your cgi program.
You may need a Unix wizard here with knowledge of the privilege with which the server runs but you might find enough information here.
